This arrived as I am writing an article on the Golden Dome for the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists and it struck me as an interesting idea if the satellites could be made cheap enough. Would you mind if I quoted you in my story? Would you like to say any more of the Golden Dome idea?

My guess is that we need to be prepared for the real Star Wars. Our sat swarms are likely to be deployed just before or shorty after their swarms are already in place. A shoot out in the ok space corral will follow with deception, decoys, and info ops escalating rapidly and leading to attack on ground control facilities and infrastructure. There will no final winning tech and exhaustion will be followed by an end to the war. My proposal of a Solarium 2.0 might provide the wisdom to prevent this scenario.
